All ships arrive in Torrevieja by the Eastern part. A few of the most popular fishing boats are the ones called "Ángel Manuel", "Los faraones", and "El Pedro Rafa".

These ships are at work about twelve hours a day, from 4 am until 6 pm approximately. Their captures include red mullet, octopuss, red bream, sole, squid, etc.

All of these are perfect to cook a good "caldero", a delicious dish made with different fish varieties and that is typical of the coastal area.
